Molly McCulloch

Molly McCulloch is an assistant swim coach at SPIRE Academy.

Originally from Rome, New York, Molly McCulloch brings collegiate swimming experience and a coaching background spanning club and college programs to SPIRE Academy.

Molly was a New York State high school qualifier with a top-10 finish in 2013. She went on to compete for four years at SUNY New Paltz, where she became the 2015 SUNYAC champion in the 100-yard butterfly and qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championships. She also set SUNY New Paltz school and pool records in the 100-yard butterfly.

Her coaching career began with HAWKS Swimming Association from 2016 to 2018. She then coached at SUNY Cortland from 2018 to 2020, contributing to the team recognized as the 2020 SUNYAC Coaching Staff of the Year. She continued at St. Francis University in 2020–2021 and Allegheny College in 2021–2022 before joining SPIRE Academy in 2022.

Molly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Therapy from SUNY New Paltz and a Master of Science in Recreation Management from SUNY Cortland. Her coaching interests include team culture, athlete well-being, swimmer development and stroke technique.
