A former NCAA Division I track and field athlete who competed for the University of Miami. During his career, he specialized in the 400 meters, earning 2x All-American honors, ranking among the top 30 in the world during the 2025 indoor season, and finishing 18th at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials. At Miami, Solomon earned his bachelor’s degree in Journalism and later completed his master’s degree in Sports Management
