Cedric grew up on the east coast of the United States, playing at Saint Peter’s Prep, where his team won two state titles. He finished high school at Woodlawn in Baltimore, Maryland, where he played a pivotal role in leading his team to a county championship. Cedric spent two years at Baltimore City Community College, competing at the Division 1 JUCO level. Seeking further growth and opportunity, he transferred to Medaille University in Buffalo, New York, where he completed his collegiate playing career. In 2021 Cedric returned to Medaille University as an assistant coach, where he played a crucial role in guiding the team to a conference championship during the 2021-2022 season.
