Allison Simon has nurtured a passion for arts education throughout her career. Over the past six years, she has concentrated on education in non-traditional settings, offering arts programming aimed at engaging students from kindergarten through adulthood in creative interactions with history and beyond. As the Director of Programming for a Cultural Center and Museum in Eastern Oregon, her efforts were dedicated to developing culturally responsive programs and classes for diverse audiences. These initiatives were grounded in the use of exhibits, artifacts, and tangible aspects of history to reinforce learning objectives.
