Michael was the Head Cross Country and Track and Field coach at Notre Dame College in Cleveland, Ohio, where he worked with all event groups. Prior to that Michael was Assistant Cross Country, Jumps, Throws and Multi coach at Penn State Behrend where he coached several NCAA qualifiers along with NCAA All Americans in the high jump and discus. At Behrend, he coach multiple school record holders and Conference qualifier from the 60m to the 3000m, Decathlon, High jump, Shot Put and Discus. Michael also had success coaching at William and Mary coaching hurdles, jumps and also multi athletes. His well rounded coaching background is a tremendous addition to the coaching staff at SPIRE. Michael has a Masters Degree in School Psychology from William and Mary as well a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The College of New Jersey. He now lives in Madison, Ohio and also works as a school psychologist at Mentor High School.
