Rich Odell

Title: Co- Managing Director

After a brief teaching career, Rich spent more than 20 years at the highest levels of private school administration. In 1999, he created the Pendleton School at IMG Academy, the world’s largest academic and sports academy. In 2010, he sold Pendleton to IMG, staying on to run the school, admissions, student life and health services until he retired in 2016. Through his current company, Heads Up Educational Consulting LLC, Rich works with more than 270 privates schools around the world providing governance, leadership and strategic planning, development and ongoing support, and new school design. He also works with Boards of Trustees to help schools merge, separate, or close.
