Ryan Sarkisian is an accomplished soccer player and performance coach from Hudson, Ohio. He began his soccer journey at the age of four, demonstrating a deep seated passion for the sport. His early affinity for soccer was evident when his first steps at 13 months old were directed towards kicking a soccer ball.
During his high school years at Hudson High School, Ryan was an active member of the school’s soccer team. His dedication and skill on the field led him to commit to continuing his athletic career at the collegiate level. In April 2019, he officially committed to playing soccer for the University of Mount Union.
At the University of Mount Union, Ryan made significant contributions to the men’s soccer team. In the 2022 season, he started all 19 games and scored one goal. His academic diligence was recognized with the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) honor. The previous year, in 2021, he played in 16 games with 15 starts, earning his first Academic All-OAC accolade.
Building on his experience as a collegiate athlete, Ryan transitioned into the field of sports performance. He is currently a Performance Coach at SPIRE Academy, where he works with elite athletes, helping them enhance their physical capabilities and overall athletic performance. His background in soccer, combined with his expertise in strength and conditioning, allows him to develop tailored training programs that optimize performance, injury prevention, and recovery.
Ryan remains passionate about athlete development and continues to apply his knowledge to help the next generation of athletes reach their full potential.
