Kevin Boyle Jr.
Associate Head Coach Varsity Men National
Kevin will serve as the Associate Head Coach for the varsity boys basketball team and will mange social media for the team. He brings a lifetime of experience, including a decade of coaching and developing numerous future NBA and NCAA stars. He played under his father, Kevin Boyle, at St. Patrick High School in New Jersey where he was teammates with future NBA lottery picks Kyrie Irving and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Kevin went on to play basketball at Florida Gulf Coast University, before earning his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Florida. Kevin and his wife Nicole are the loving parents to Story and Sloane.
Coaching History
In four seasons as Montverde Academy Associate Head Coach: Helped lead the team to 104-7 record, including 3 Chipotle/Geico National Championships and 3 Nike EYBL Scholastic/NIBC league titles.
Served as Head Coach in pre-season games, holding a 26-0 record including back-to-back Geico Top Flight Invitational tournament championships in 2022 and 2023. Named to Silver Waves Media “80 Next Up” list in 2022 and 2023. The list represents “the most talented grassroots, high school, and prep coaches in the country. Those listed are Next Up to accept college or NBA jobs. These coaches have proven themselves as great candidates for the next level.”
Kevin also served as Head Coach of the Montverde Post Grad program from 2015 – 2019. In four seasons as Head Coach: Served as Head Coach to 5 players that have appeared on NBA rosters. 87-17 Record versus top-tier national prep programs and JUCO programs. Top-10 nationally ranked each season with wins over nationally #1 ranked team in three out of four seasons. Named “Next Up Recruits” Southeast Region National Coach of the Year in 2017. Recruited and developed 28 Division 1 scholarship players in four seasons.
