SPIRE Academy guard Saniyah Hall has been named to the 2026 Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Girls’ High School Player of the Year Midseason Team, recognizing the top performers in high school basketball nationwide.
This midseason honor places Hall among an elite group of athletes who have distinguished themselves through on-court production, consistency, and impact during the first half of the season. The Naismith Trophy is one of the most prestigious individual awards in basketball, celebrating excellence at every level of the game.
Hall’s selection reflects her continued rise as one of the nation’s premier prospects. Known for her versatility, scoring ability, and basketball IQ, she has been a focal point of SPIRE’s success this season and continues to draw national attention.
“We are extremely excited to have Saniyah be named to the Naismith Trophy Mid-Season watch list,” said Coach Dooley. “Saniyah has stepped up time and time again to prove she is a generational player. She has succeeded in Scholastic basketball, AAU basketball, and International FIBA basketball. We are excited for this nomination and appreciate the committee seeing Saniyah’s value to our program and the basketball world!”
The Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Girls’ High School Player of the Year award is presented annually to the top high school player in the country. Finalists and the winner will be announced later in the season.
As the season continues, Hall remains focused on team goals while building on a resume that continues to rank among the best in the nation.
