SPIRE Academy celebrates 20 signees for 2026 Spring Signing Day

05/04/2026

Last month, SPIRE Academy honored twenty student-athletes from four of SPIRE’s seven sports as they signed off on their commitment to compete at the collegiate level. The class of 2026 Spring Signing Day signees was SPIRE’s largest to date, representing SPIRE’s commitment to empowering peak performance in school, sport, work and life.

Surrounded by friends, family, staff and teammates, each student-athlete took a moment on stage to hear well-wishes from coaches and to speak on their time at SPIRE Academy. From NJCAA Division II up to NCAA Division I, student-athletes took the next step forward to their promising futures and made their commitments official.

“This year’s Spring Signing Day was a big moment for our school. On Friday, we had 20 student-athletes sign to play in college, the most we’ve had since we started hosting these events. That’s a direct result of the work our athletes put in every day and the time our coaches invest in practices, film, and building connections to help get them recruited. It is truly one of my favorite days on campus, where we can all sit back and appreciate the hard work we have put in,” said Jeffrey Gonzalez, SPIRE Athletic Director.

“Signing Day is always meaningful here. When you listen to the student-athletes and coaches speak, you can see the genuine connection they’ve built. It’s not just about performance, it’s about trust, respect, and the relationships that have grown over time. That’s what makes this place feel like a family.”
