SPIRE is excited to announce the hiring of John Gavlick as Manager of Residential Life. He brings a career of experience in education and private boarding schools and is very well-versed in the environment at SPIRE.

With his Master of Science in Education from Indiana University, Gavlick has worked at a variety of universities and private academies throughout the country, including Indiana, Wisconsin, New York, and Florida. During his extensive professional career, he has worked with adolescents from extremely culturally diverse backgrounds. Experience that will prove valuable for SPIRE’s growing international student body.

Gavlick’s past experience includes working with students to cultivate character within a whole-person development approach. He focuses his attention on ideals of moral and social values, as well as intellectual and physical leadership. His experience managing teams and overall student development will bring added value to each student’s life at SPIRE.
