SPIRE Academy continues to show why it’s a premier destination for elite athletic development, with standout student athletes Saniyah Hall, an incoming senior, and Jason Dube, a rising sophomore, making headlines on some of the biggest stages in USA sports.

Saniyah Hall Claims MVP Honors at FIBA U19 World Cup

Hall, an incoming senior and the nation’s top-ranked women’s basketball prospect, led USA Basketball to gold at the FIBA U19 Women’s World Cup. The 16-year-old didn’t just contribute to the championship, she earned Tournament MVP honors, establishing herself as one of the world’s most dominant young players.

“We are extremely proud and excited for Saniyah and Team USA bringing home gold at the FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup,” said SPIRE Women’s Basketball Head Coach Mike Dooley. “Saniyah represented herself and her country with pride and excellent play. We could not be more excited to have Saniyah on campus this upcoming season. Saniyah, and our program, are in for a big year.”

Jason Dube Earns All-American Status at Wrestling Junior Nationals

Rising sophomore Jason Dube captured All-American honors at USA Wrestling Junior Nationals, proving he belongs among the country’s best in his age group. The 16-year-old’s national success reflects the discipline and high-level coaching that define SPIRE’s wrestling program.

“We’ve known how tough Jason is from the battles he faces every day in the practice room, going toe-to-toe with our seniors and post-grads. Even as a freshman, he’s pushed through injuries and proven his toughness,” said SPIRE Wrestling Head Coach Mike Kulczycki. “After earning All-American honors at Fargo, the whole country now knows it too. We’re excited for Jason’s future and the next three years ahead. As he steps into his sophomore year, he’ll be one of the leaders in our room.”

The SPIRE Way

As the new school year approaches, all eyes will be on Hall and Dube as they come to campus riding national momentum. With a gold medal, MVP honors, and All-American recognition already under their belts, both athletes are poised to lead their teams into an exciting year ahead at SPIRE.
