Seven SPIRE Basketball Players Sign National Letters of Intent

11/14/2022

At SPIRE, basketball players spend countless hours training to compete on the court. Their heart and soul go into perfecting their craft and unlocking that powerful potential inside themselves. As a blacksmith is devoted to the hammer, SPIRE ballers are devoted to… well… the ball.

On Wednesday, November 9th, seven of those talented athletes took a monumental step forward in their careers. These students formally signed their National Letters of Intent (NLI) to make their official commitments to their respective colleges and universities for the 2023–24 academic year.

Included in the group is Cleveland-area native, Daniel Young (Shaker Heights High School), who will be staying home and playing for the Cleveland State Vikings next season.

  • Daniel Young | Post Grad | Copley, OH | Committing to Cleveland State University (OH)
