Landon Hawthorne (Leone), and Grant Robertson (Avien), have emerged as standout players on SPIRE’s prestigious VALORANT esports team. Their exceptional skills have earned them spots on the Stay Plugged In Coca-Cola All-Stars roster, a testament to their status among the nation’s top 20 high school VALORANT recruits.

Both players are set to receive an exclusive rewards bundle and a minimum scholarship of $250 as part of the Coca-Cola All-Stars program. Additional prize opportunities await during the highly anticipated All-Stars Weekend. This event promises an array of activities, including a College Fair, a skills challenge and a championship bracket, providing an exciting platform to determine the best region in each game.

SPIRE’s VALORANT Coach Jack Pennington underscored the significance of this milestone, expressing, “This shows the amount of hard work and dedication these boys have been putting in…This selection is a testament to what we do at SPIRE with our training program.”

Grant Robertson (Avien) highlighted the broader implications, stating, “This opportunity is a chance to spread my name and grow my reputation for college so I can thrive…The All-Star title means that more colleges are looking at us, so we have the opportunity to get recruited by better college teams and pursue our dream of going pro.”

Landon Hawthorne echoed this sentiment, saying, “I’m very happy and excited to represent SPIRE at the all-stars event; this selection helps tremendously [by] opening new opportunities for me in the pro and collegiate scenes of VALORANT. Thanks to SPIRE investing in me as a player, I can show my abilities and character to more people in esports as a whole. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and extremely invested in improving even more as a player.”

SPIRE’s esports program offers a host of benefits to aspiring players and their journey in the competitive gaming world.
