SPIRE Academy is delighted to announce the schedule of events for the upcoming USA Wrestling U23 Nationals and U20 World Team Trials hosted on the academy’s campus from 05/31/2024 to 06/02/2024. Wrestling athletes from all over the country will come to Geneva, OH to compete for the opportunity to represent the United States of America at the United World Wrestling Seniors World Championships in Tirana, Albania – and the U20 World Championships in Pontevedra, Spain later this year.
This event features competition for U20 age athletes (Born 2004–2007) and U23 age athletes (Born 2001–2006) in Men’s Freestyle and Greco-Roman events. The top eight place winners in the U20 division who are eligible will qualify for the Junior and 16U National Championships held in Fargo, North Dakota from 07/12/2024 – 07/20/2024.
During the event, SPIRE’s own Mike Kulczycki, Wrestling Head Coach, will be facilitating a wrestling skill development clinic where athletes can hone their skills and work with some of the best in the sport. The clinic will be taking place on Sunday, June 2nd from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
The schedule of events includes both Greco-Roman and Freestyle events.

Weights do not carry over – Athletes must weigh-in for each registered division at Scratch Weight.
Weigh-in Procedures: Athletes must bring a physical copy of their USA Wrestling Membership Card in order to record the weight at the scale.
Medical Check:
Athletes must be present in a COMPETITION SINGLET and must submit to a skin disease screening prior to weigh-in. The chief medical officer has full authority without appeal in determining the eligibility of an athlete to compete.
