SPIRE Academy provides everything wrestlers need to excel at the highest level. Our rigorous training regimen, Olympic-level coaching and state-of-the-art facilities prepare student athletes to be the best at their sport, as well as any of the top collegiate and professional programs do.”

So says Mike Kulczycki, Head Coach of Wrestling at SPIRE Academy. Coach Kulczycki knows of what he speaks. Closing in on the end of the 2024–2025 academic year, SPIRE Academy Wrestling is set to send five of its graduates off to some of the country’s best collegiate wrestling programs. Here’s a list of who’s going and where they’re going, so far:

  1. Rider Betts—Virginia Military Institute (Chesapeake, VA)
  2. Brogan Fielding—Ohio State University (Jefferson, OH)
  3. Talan Hubbard—Binghamton University (Cortland, NY)
  4. Ryan Kennedy—Brown University (North Olmsted, OH)
  5. Denis Kodakov Gil—Undecided as of yet, as he sorts through his choices (Madrid, Spain)

“The sport of wrestling is in a global growth spurt, and SPIRE Academy is well positioned to make the most of it,” says Kulczycki. “After a few years at SPIRE, our wrestlers graduate fully equipped to thrive in college and beyond—ready to take on any challenge that comes their way.”
